“I’d rather spend the night outside on a cold bench with a friend that cares about me than spend the night in a warm shelter with nobody to call friend.” –Tony K.

Our Mission

EXO Community is a faith based nonprofit social ministry that serves the homeless and other marginalized people in our city. Our desire is to create intersections where people from different walks of life cross paths and a community develops where everyone belongs.

Everything we do is in the context of relationships. Our first step is to reach those in the margins of our city. From there we hope to grow friendships that lead to a renewal of hope and life for all involved.

In order to build friendships, we will reach towards them by spending time with them in the places they are.

As we spend time among those we wish to serve, new friendships will grow into a community that connects and cooperates.

Our great hope is these relationships grow in such a way that renewal occurs, faith grows, and we are all healed in exciting and unexpected ways!

“It’s so crazy that you walked up to me today. I think God wanted us to meet because things have been so crazy for me lately…”    -Gloria
